Illustration by:              businessmarketingengine.com HTML is a web-based computer language that tells your browser how to display text and images on a webpage. Tags are used to distinguish different elements, organize paragraphs and headers, and add images and videos. I've learnt a variety of html skills, including how to utilize tags, insert photos, change font color and size, and so on. I may think that these are just a load of nonsense or that I will never use this knowledge, but I believe that it will come in handy at some point in my life, and it is a valuable asset to have in my armory. As a result, I'll keep doing what I'm doing.

Illustration by: manilatimes.net  Kannawidan is a celebration held in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, from the end of January through the first few weeks of February. The festival is crucial to commemorate since it has been held for many years to mark the division of the two Ilocos provinces, Norte (north) and Sur (south) (south). This festival is a time of joy and celebration that occurs just once a year; if we skip it, our tradition will be lost in time and history; this festival remembers individuality not only because of the two conjoint provinces' split, but also for individuals who are commemorating this joyous occasion.

During the pandemic, many events had to be canceled to prevent the spread of the virus, and festivals aren't an exception to this. Like any other year, the celebration started with a holy mass and the renewal of the City's pledge on heritage. The safety of people attending the event is ensured by the  CEPPO or City Events, Promotions and protocol office during this so called "new normal". The different traditional competitions along the category of musical, literary arts and folk dance online while visual arts competitions are conducted wit The Bantay bell tower is a tall tower located on top of a hill, this tower is one of the oldest structures standing at the far right of the Bantay church.   The quote "New Year, New Me!" Is often use as an excuse or a reasoning people use to address changes set to set goals for themselves. We often use this quote when we want to change unhealthy habits to improve for the next year, whether ot not these goals or expectations for ouraelves is met is a different discussion. Most often then not, these goals are either unreachable or irrelevant, wanting to change for the sake of a change will never last long, if you want to change you should not wait till the new year to comes or any other holiday. Change for yoyrself, if you want to change that is, trying to fit in will give you no good.

Continuing tradition

Christmas has always been the season of joy for most people, the season of giving, the season of gathering. But what if unforeseen events cause our joyful season to be restricted, is it still the season of joy and togetherness? This year, like the previous one, we are still experiencing the pandemic known as Covid-19. But unlike last year, this year, we are able to selebrate the holidays with less restrictions than before. But we still need to practice caution, cuz despite the vaccines lowering our chances to be affected by the virus, we are still bulnerable to it and isnt completely immune. As such this christmas is a step up- an improvement from the last one we experienced, so thats something to look up too. Given that we are not out of the tunnel yet, we should still make the best of it since Christmas only happens once a year.

Given every single one of us are experiencing the same thing, adults are more well equiped for it than children are, with all the life experience they've gone through, making kids the most vulnerable from the effects of the pandemic as a whole. The main effects being depression and anxiety from the lack of social interactions and indefinite isolation. Its our reaponsiblity to check up on the kids to see if they are in good health in all posible ways. That is the only thing we can do for the tine being, give them the needed attention, ask them to take breaks from their school work and if need be, force them to take a break if they reject the idea even though they desperately  needed the rest.

I learned that blogging isn't as easy as I thought it would be in the beginning, not that I thought it would be that easy to begin with, from all the research needed to be done to ensure that you are writing down correct and efficient things that you are discussing. To be speaking incorrectly about a topic, the consequences isn't a fun thing to experience, honestly writing articles, or rather writing in general, were never a skill I would be proud saying I am great at, but their are rooms to improve and I'm happy to learn. Criticism is something hard to deal...
